Enjoy the scenic routes. Century, 50, 40, 30, 10 miles. Our coordinator says, "Prepare yourself for the hills." The same hills are included in the 5k and 10k runs. This event includes a bicycle tour and a run which take place no matter how cold the weather. Icy roads have caused a cancellation only one time in its long history. Freeze Your Fanny for a great cause - proceeds benefit the Special Olympics.

Zonta Antiques Show and Sale takes place on the first weekend in March. The show was first held in 1976 and has grown in reputation to be one of the best antique shows and sales in Texas. Over 50 select and juried dealers come to the show from across the country. Attendance is in the thousands as visitors and locals participate to find one-of-a-kind collectible or piece of find furniture.
| | Party In The Pines | Party In The Pines is a 3 day motorcycle rally held every Memorial Day weekend. Events include music, rides, poker tournament and a memorial parade. The event honors the many who serve in our nation's armed forces.

The Great Texas Balloon Race | Gregg County is Host to the Balloon Federation of America U.S. National Championships 2012-2014. This is top notch flying by the best hot air balloon pilots in the nations and often the world.
Concurrent with the US Championships is the Annual Great Texas Balloon Race. It it is a weekend of high flying fun and excitement including music concerts, vendors, special exhibits, air shows, carnivals and Kids Land.
