Arts!Longview Honors

The 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to the Junior League of Longview. Established in 1940, the Junior League of Longview plays an integral part in the development, improvement, and support of the communities of Longview. Throughout the past 85 years, the Junior League of Longview has had a  tremendous impact on the arts community locally. The League founded the Longview Museum of Fine Arts in 1958, previously organized a children’s theatre for many decades prior to ArtsView Children’s Theatre’s establishment in 2004, and has been involved in various aspects of the arts community for 8 decades. Arts!Longview is proud to recognize the League’s efforts to enrich the fabric of the local arts community with the presentation of the 2026 Arts!Longview Lifetime Achievement Award for Artistic Excellence.

Schedule of the Evening:

6:30 p.m.: Doors open
6:30-7:45 p.m.: Reception with hors d'oeuvres and an open bar
7:30 p.m.: Auditorium seating opens
8:00 p.m.: Arts!Longview Honors Broadway-Style Variety Show and Presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award
9:30-10:30 p.m.: Post-Show Reception 

Sponsorships: 

Arts!Longview Honors 2026 is currently open for sponsorships, which range from $500 to $10,000. To request sponsorship information, email Christina Cavazos at director@artslongview.org.

Raffle:

Tickets are available for a raffle art piece custom created by local sculptor, Charles Arnold. The sculpture is a 3 Dimensional version of Alex Mack's "My People's Art," featuring three figures inspired by Alex's paintings. The sculpture is made of quarter-inch welded steel rod mounted to a base. Raffle tickets are available for $40 each or 3 for $100. Raffle tickets can be purchased as an add-on to Honors tickets or can be purchased separately. Entrants do not need to be present to win. Drawing will be held January 24, 2026.
