Downtown Longview Christmas Tree Lighting

The holiday season officially begins in Downtown Longview with the lighting of the 23.5-foot Christmas tree at Heritage Plaza. The annual tradition features pictures with Santa, music, carriage rides, petting zoo, Ollie's Faux Snow Hill, food trucks, and vendors. The event is hosted by the Longview Main Street program in conjunction with the Downtown Longview nonprofit One Hundred Acres of Heritage. This year's theme is Reindeer Games!

  • When: Saturday, November 22, from 4 – 7 p.m.  (Lighting occurs at approximately 5:30 p.m.)
  • Where: Heritage Plaza, 219 E. Methvin St.
  • Cost: The event is free to attend, however there are charges for some activities. 
    • Petting Zoo and Pony Rides: $5
    • Carriage Rides: $5 for children 3 - 12; $10 for ages 12+.  
    • Faux Snow Hill: Free
    • Pictures with Santa: Free
